When drivers withdraw cash using the TCH Fuel Card, the amount is debited from their pre-authorized cash advance limit. Aside from the ATM surcharge to the driver, TCH will assess a $1 fee. The carrier will be responsible for their normal transaction fee.

Drivers must establish a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for their TCH Fuel Card before it can be used for ATM withdrawals. The PIN helps protect against fraud and ensures proper use. Click here for that can be printed and distributed to drivers.

The only way drivers can get cash advances is if the carrier has established a cash advance line on the driver's card. Cash advances are administered through the automated phone system or TCH's online E-Manager program. Click here for .

Drivers can still use their TCH Fuel Card to get cash at the fuel desk for no additional fee when purchasing fuel. However, ATM access provides a fast and convenient way for drivers to get cash when visiting a fuel desk isn't feasible.

• Be sure the ATM displays the STAR logo.
• Insert card and enter Personal Identification Number (PIN). Select "credit" on ATM screen.
• Take your receipt. The transaction amount will be automatically deducted from your cash advance limit.
• While many ATMs are available 24 hours a day, some may be open only during local business hours. To be on the safe side, plan your withdrawals ahead of time.
• Check with your company to determine the cash limit of funds that can be withdrawn.

• Keep your card in a safe place to avoid damage.
• Memorize your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Never write the PIN on anything in your wallet or on the card itself.
• Immediately report a lost or stolen card to the person at your company who handles fuel cards.
